Nike Golf introduces the new women’s Nike Lunar Links shoe that offers the ultimate in lightweight performance footwear. Inspired by Nike Golf athlete Suzann Pettersen, the Nike Lunar Links shoe combines superior cushioning, targeted support and stability. Pettersen will be wearing this shoe throughout the 2011 LPGA Tour season.

Developed in Nike’s Innovation Kitchen, Lunarlon cushioning system is another proprietary technology from Nike that offers underfoot comfort, ground feel and stability. The full-length Nike Lunarlon Foam is encased within a supportive Phylon carrier in the midsole. The dual-density foam is both durable and highly responsive, providing a unique blend of ultra-plush cushioning and optimal support.

Another key feature of the Nike Lunar Links is a lightweight stability layer comprised of non-stretch fibers that will not stretch out over time. This layer, combined with a premium microfiber synthetic leather upper, provides much-needed stability in the midfoot without adding weight.
