Nike Golf has gone over to the dark side with the latest addition to its putter lineup. The Nike Method Midnight putter features the company's revolutionary polymetal groove technology, which combine steel and polymer. The Method Midnight putter comes in three new models - Method Midnight 006, 007, and 008 - and is available in new milled head shapes with a dark chrome finish. While most traditional steel faced putters start the ball with backspin causing the ball to initially bounce, the revolutionary and visibly distinctive polymetal groove technology generates a forward roll almost immediately after impact, minimizing bounce and keeping putts on line, providing increased accuracy and consistency.
The Nike Method Midnight putters are constructed with Polymetal Groove Technology which provides faster forward roll at impact for the accuracy and consistency demanded by Nike TOUR staff players. The Polymetal Groove Technology consists of soft polymer grooves and milled secondary grooves that start the ball on a controlled forward roll for more consistency. The multi-material face has a low durometer polymer that dampens vibration for a soft feel and an interspersed milled steel face that provides audible feedback for better distance control.
