Nike VR_S Covert - World's First High-Speed Cavity Back Driver

Big, Red, and Long best describes the new Covert driver from Nike.

The Nike VR_S Covert Driver will draw a lot of attention with its distinctive red crown and innovative design. This is the world’s first cavity back driver. The back-middle section of the sole has been removed making the crown more stable and a slightly higher MOI. The CG is slightly forward producing a slightly more boring ball flight. By having more mass in the heel and toe areas, the Covert drivers will resist twisting more effectively on off-center hits and allow you to hit the ball straighter, more often. This driver also features FlexLoft which allows the golfer to adjust the loft and face angle independently. The loft can be adjusted between 8.5 and 12.5 in 1 degree increments and the face angle can be set left (closed), neutral (square), right (open). The NexCOR face technology makes the edges of the face thinner than the center which enlarges the sweet spot. This translates to faster ball speeds across a wider area of the face resulting longer shots.
