Built for players who demand both artistry and consistency around the greens, the TaylorMade MG5 Wedge delivers a combination of forged feel, precision spin, and all-weather control. Featuring sharper, steeper grooves and RAW Face with Spin Tread technology, this wedge keeps spin high even when the course gets wet. With hand-crafted shaping and machine-milled precision, the MG5 pairs modern performance with timeless craftsmanship—now available in a sleek charcoal finish.

Forged Feel
Each MG5 wedge is forged from soft carbon steel for exceptional feedback and responsive feel at impact. Carefully tuned shaping provides shotmaking versatility and confidence.

Maximum Spin
New saw-milled groove geometry increases sharpness and steepness, creating higher spin rates in both dry and damp conditions—ideal for precision wedge play.

Performance in All Conditions
The RAW Face features laser-etched Spin Tread channels to divert moisture and retain spin in wet environments, similar to how tire treads maintain road contact.

Grind Options

LB – Designed for players who want the leading edge to sit low to the ground in a variety of face positions. Intended for shallow swing styles and tight, firm conditions.

SC – Built for the golfer who plays in all types of conditions and demands ultimate greenside versatility. Also provides consistent stability on full shots with heel and toe relief when manipulating the face.

SB – Great fit for an array of swing styles and turf conditions. A gentle 4-way camber creates smooth turf interaction with forgiveness on partial swings and bunker shots.

SX – Our widest sole option uses increased sole curvature to glide through any turf condition with unmatched consistency from the bunker. Our signature “Reverse-C” trailing edge relief is designed to keep the bounce consistent as you manipulate the face.

HB – A high bounce sole option designed with versatility as demanded by better players. Unique heel relief and increased bounce towards the toe is great for softer conditions or steeper swings.

TW – Updated to match Tiger’s recent wedge preferences. A new leading edge blend with increased effective bounce in the heel.
